Case study: Classic App

Classic is a telemedicine platform designed to simplify access to healthcare for patients, particularly those in underserved or remote areas. The app provides an intuitive way to schedule and conduct video consultations with healthcare providers, enabling patients to receive care from the comfort of their homes.

Problem Statement

Many patients, especially older adults or those less familiar with technology, face challenges using existing telemedicine platforms. These include complicated onboarding processes, unclear scheduling systems, and unreliable video call experiences. Classic was created to address these pain points with a focus on simplicity, accessibility, and reliability.

Target Audience:

  • Patients: Elderly individuals, chronic care patients, and those with limited access to in-person healthcare.
  • Healthcare Providers: Doctors and specialists who need an efficient, all-in-one platform for managing patient appointments and conducting consultations.

Research

I conducted a series of one-on-one interviews with 10 patients and 5 doctors. I also analyzed user feedback from competitors like Teladoc and Doctor On Demand to pinpoint common user frustration

Key Findings

  • Patients: Experienced difficulties with complicated navigation, unclear appointment scheduling, and connectivity issues during video consultations.
